So the bookmarks are now available anywhere with an internet connection!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">My advise is try one out!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">I have also linked my bookmarks to my blog!</span>Stuart Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08894653091964161483noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-387972874323618086.post-30460451394936991182007-11-22T11:16:00.000-08:002007-11-27T05:35:22.953-08:00I work in Enterprise 1.0 - It's a long road to Enterprise 2.0<span style="font-family:verdana;">OK so for the last year or so I have been experimenting with all types of Web2.0 stuff....without really knowing anything about it!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">LinkedIn, Facebook, Flickr, Shareslide, Basecamp, goplan, del.icio.us, Zoho Office 2.0 to name a few of my favourites!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">I love these sites. When you get used to the flexibility of these tools at home.....you wish you could use them at work. So I want to take some of these tools and the overall social computing concepts and try to implement them into a large multinational Enterprise 1.0 environment. The benefits are clear but the adoption of new technology can always be a challenging sell!.....So the challenge is ahead. First step was to get buy-in from a small team of early adopters....The eCommerce Team!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">The first tool will be SPS.....so not quite Enterprise 2.0 yet.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">When I think SPS I think happy medium! It's a big step up from the old intranet that was impossible to maintain!! but its still clunky and slow....oh and seriously lacking in true collaboration functionality.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">I hope to share some more thoughts and experiences soon......<br /><br />My favourite "Meet _____" presentation:<br /><br /><div style="width: 425px; text-align: left;" id="__ss_94449"><object style="margin: 0px;" height="355" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://static.slideshare.net/swf/ssplayer2.swf?doc=meet-charlotte2698"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://static.slideshare.net/swf/ssplayer2.swf?doc=meet-charlotte2698" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="355" width="425"></embed></object><div style="font-size: 11px; font-family: tahoma, arial; height: 26px; padding-top: 2px;"><a href="http://www.slideshare.net/?src=embed"><img src="http://static.slideshare.net/swf/logo_embd.png" style="border: 0px none ; margin-bottom: -5px;" alt="SlideShare" /></a> | <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/TheShed/meet-charlotte" title="View 'Meet Charlotte' on SlideShare">View</a> | <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/upload">Upload your own</a></div></div><br /><br /><br /></span>Stuart Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08894653091964161483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-387972874323618086.post-68147731597538608852007-11-05T12:45:00.000-08:002007-11-27T04:40:49.570-08:00The Beginning....<span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Welcome....</span><br /><br />A bit about me and why I am bothering to start a blog!<br /><br />I am a 26 year old eCommerce Project Manager currently working for a large multinational.<br /><br />I enjoy researching and reading into new web2.0 technologies and how these can be successfully be introduced into all organisations....large or small.<br /><br />Not to miss out on a new buzzword.....this is now known as "Enterprise 2.0"<br /><br />I am just going to wait and see how the blog develops and post anything of interest....<br /><br /><br /></span>Stuart Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08894653091964161483noreply@blogger.com0
